CBD oil is the best known form of Cannabidiol available. Though it sure isn’t the purest form. In fact, CBD oil is a diluted form of a raw hemp extract. And despite that we categorize them as such, raw hemp extracts are not the purest form of CBD either. Let’s explain what Pure CBD actually is and how this substance can be used in various ways:
Pure CBD Paste
As you might expect, when we talk about ‘Pure CBD’, we mean that the product is not diluted in any way. That is why both our raw hemp extract and CBD isolate crystals are categorized as Pure CBD in our webshop. Though our hemp extract, otherwise known as CBD Paste, is not the purest form of CBD we have.
It does contain around 15,5% Cannabidiol (CBD) - and is the raw and unprocessed result of a hemp CO2-extraction. But besides CBD, the product also contains other cannabinoids such as CBG, CBC and CBN. Furthermore, CBD Paste contains terpenes and other components extracted from the hemp plant material - though nothing is added or refined. Considering this, it’s safe to say CBD Paste is a raw CBD product. And thanks to the wide variety of active ingredients in the extract, one of the most effective too, may we add. Though for the purest CBD possible, we have to take this paste and refine it.
CBD isolate crystals
The purest form of CBD in the world are actually isolated CBD crystals. Otherwise known as CBD powder, this product is the isolated Cannabidiol from hemp extracts - refined until all other components are separated from the CBD. The result is a crystalline form of CBD, with a 99,8% purity. The other 0,2% is mostly moisture, as CBD isolate is completely free of other cannabinoids and aromatic terpenes. This might make CBD crystals the purest form of CBD available. Though with no entourage effect, supported by other cannabinoids and/or terpenes, the product alone will not be as effective as a full spectrum hemp extract or CBD oil.
How to use CBD Paste and CBD Isolate?
Raw CBD Paste is easy to use. Considering the thick structure of CBD paste, this product is offered in handy syringes. Simply take a small amount - the size of a rice grain - and hold it under the tongue for at least a minute before swallowing. This dosage can be increased if necessary after 10-14 days. CBD Paste can also be used topically, to battle rashes, burns or painful areas. Watch out with your clothes though, as CBD Paste may leave stains.
Pure CBD isolate crystals are easy to use, too. In fact, the purity of the product enables a variety of uses for CBD isolate crystals. To start with, you can simply take a small amount of crystals and let them melt under the tongue. Though CBD powder can also be used in a vaporizer, to make your own vape juice with or to increase the CBD concentration in any CBD oil - to name a few possibilities.
