Using CBD oil

CBD oil is a popular substance used by people who want to support their health or well-being in a natural way, and this can be for many different reasons. Some of these reasons are discussed later in this blog. The reason so many people use it has to do with the way cannabinoids function in the body.

After use, cannabidiol (CBD) binds to receptors in the body’s own endocannabinoid system (ECS). This communication network is responsible for regulating almost all processes in our body. Because CBD is able to interact with this network, it can influence these processes. In practice, the plant-based cannabinoid helps bring balance back to this system, allowing the body to function the way it is meant to.

Which CBD oil should you use?

Not all CBD oil is the same. First of all, there are major quality differences between the hemp oils available on the market. Although there is a lot of low-quality product available, you can be confident that with an ISO-certified manufacturer such as Dutch Natural Healing, you are choosing a reliable option. That said, we also offer many different types of CBD. So which CBD oil should you use?

Unfortunately, this often comes down to personal experience. Finding what works best for you is very individual, and we can only support you in this process. It depends, for example, on your physical condition, personal preferences, and daily schedule. However, based on feedback from millions of people worldwide, we can help guide you. Please feel free to contact us to discuss which CBD oil best suits your personal situation.

How do you use CBD oil?

Once you have decided which product you will use, you will naturally want to know how to use CBD oil. In general, CBD products are diluted with a carrier oil such as hemp seed oil. Other options include grapeseed oil, olive oil, or coconut oil. This carrier oil makes the originally thick and unworkable CBD paste fluid. This makes it easier to use and allows you to dose CBD more accurately.

To use CBD oil, you can place a few drops under your tongue. This may take some practice at first. If you are just starting with CBD oil, it is recommended to use a mirror. This helps you place and count the drops correctly, so you do not take too much or too little. You can also drip the CBD oil onto a spoon or your hand and lick it off. Keep in mind that some CBD may remain on the spoon or hand. If you prefer this method, you can occasionally add an extra drop to compensate for this loss.

For convenience, when ordering CBD oil you can also add a spray cap. This allows you to spray the desired CBD dosage directly into your mouth instead of using drops. There are also other forms of CBD that are not taken orally in drop form, such as CBD paste, CBDactive+ (water-soluble), curcumin CBD, CBD patches, CBD nasal spray, and more.

When should CBD be used?

Because CBD oil does not cause a “high” or “stoned” effect, it can be used throughout the day. Depending on symptoms and desired results, some users start using CBD in the morning. Others use it only in the afternoon, only to support sleep, or when they notice an increase in symptoms. This is very individual and can depend on your personal situation, the product you choose, and your goals. Feel free to contact us for more information about when to use CBD oil.

Why CBD oil is used

As mentioned earlier, there are several reasons why people use CBD oil. For example, CBD oil is used for:

  • chronic pain

  • insomnia

  • digestive issues

  • epilepsy in children

  • autism

  • stress and anxiety

  • side effects during cancer treatment

CBD is very versatile due to the unique interaction this cannabinoid has within the body. In our blogs, you can read more about the possible effects of using CBD oil and the preventive benefits associated with CBD use.
