The world of cannabinoids is not limited to CBD. But can you mix and use hemp products like CBD and CBG oils together?

Don’t expect a one-stop-shop when it comes to hemp supplements. As in the world of cannabinoids there are more than one products which could possibly contribute to a good health and increase your well-being. Some consumers can even enjoy multiple products to help a number of various discomforts. The big question however remains, can you mix and use hemp oils like CBD and CBG oil together?

Various cannabinoids = various hemp oils

The hemp plant houses hundreds, if not thousands of substances. Each with their unique effect on the human body and mind. Most of these fall under the categories ‘cannabinoids’ or ‘terpenes’. While terpenes are very interesting to discuss, as we did in ‘Terpenes in CBD oil: an easy guide to the aromatic compounds in hemp’, most hemp supplements are actually differentiated by their cannabinoid content. And with hundreds of unique cannabinoids known to man, there’s always which you could benefit from.

Some of the best known cannabinoids are Cannabidiol (CBD) and Cannabigerol (CBG). Both of which are praised for their positive effects on the human endocannabinoid system (ECS). Although they come from the same plant; these cannabinoids’ actual effects differ greatly from each other. As a result, some hemp oil consumers prefer CBD oil to soothe or decrease specific symptoms or discomforts. While other consumers might benefit more from a CBG oil.

Using CBD and CBG oil together

In some cases however, it can be beneficial to use various hemp supplements - like CBD and CBG oil - together. Well, maybe not at the same time, but rather on different occasions or times of day. For example, you might benefit more from the activating effects of a regular 8% CBD oil, or Back2Life CBD oil 5%, in the morning than at night. While you still could use something to help you sleep better… In such cases, you can perfectly combine the two preferred products by using them separately on different occasions during the day.

At the same time, you could perfectly well use two different CBD products on the same day too. If, for instance, you prefer to use one of our effective CBD patches to get you through the night. While they could be too strong for some people to use during the daytime.

Find the right hemp oil(s) for you

After all, each person is different and reacts differently to various cannabinoids too. Making it difficult for some consumers to find the right product - and ‘sweet spot’ when it comes to dosing CBD - at first. Though on the other hand, it also means that there’s always a cannabinoid supplement out there which could fit your needs perfectly.

To find the right hemp oils for you, there’s only one thing you can do. And that’s simply try them… Of course, our dedicated customer service is happy to help you and indicate some products that could theoretically fit your needs. However it’s up to you to discover which one(s) work best, at what time you should use them and which specific dose. And if you’re not sure if it’s doing what it should, this is how you know if CBD oil really works for you!
